Hafnium was discovered in 1923 by Dirk Coster and George Charles von Hevesy in Denmark. It is used in iron and other metals. Hafnium is also used in gas filled and some lamps. So Hafnium does not react with water under normal conditions. It has a melting point of 2506 K and Hafnium also has a boiling point of 4876 K.
