The melting point or beryllium equals 1560°F or 1287°C. The boiling point for Beryllium equals 2742° or 2469°C! Emeralds and Beryl were both known to early Egyptians, it was not relased till the end of the 18th century they are the same mineral. The element was recognized by M. L. Vauquelin in 1798. It was icolated by Friederick Whöler in 1828.
